Well, 2020 is just about in the rearview mirror (finally!).
As difficult as this year was for all of us, 2020 was also a landmark year for RevOps, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing community.
We wanted to take a moment to look back at 2020 and how RevOps has grown over the last year.
2020 was a landmark year for RevOps and the numbers bear that out. We’re so thrilled that, through it all, companies have been able to find value in RevOps to help them scale their businesses – especially in such a difficult economic environment.
Here are just a few stats we’d like to share:
In the early part of 2020, RevOps launched to the public with our game-changing platform as a “Single Source of Truth for Pricing.” Since then, it’s been a wild ride!
The months that followed were certainly difficult for everyone, including us. But, we’re extremely proud of how we weathered the storm this year and managed to build a winning team of amazing RevOpsters, as well as bringing on some awesome users to our product.
As we navigated through this difficult year, we, like many of you, went 100% remote as a company. What we learned from this is that, with the right tools, being a remote-first company actually makes us all better at what we do.
Given the extreme impact COVID-19 had on the way work has been done, we decided to launch a new product in March, RevOps for Teams, allowing your team to become a remote-first sales organization.
Speaking of team members, we also expanded our amazing team this year!
Of everything we’ve accomplished this year, building out our team with amazing people is what we are most proud of.
With our move to being a remote company, we have been able to expand our team across the country, giving us access to a greater diversity of folks with amazing backgrounds and skills.
From growing our engineering team to bringing on sales and marketing, RevOps is well-positioned for exponential growth in the coming year.
This fall, we launched a new initiative called The RevOps Daily.
We wanted to provide folks in the Revenue Operations space with insights and tips that could help them in their day-to-day professional lives.
Each day, we scour the web for the top 3-5 Revenue Operations related content and provide it to our subscribers in a succinct list.
The feedback for The RevOps Daily has blown us away. If you haven’t had a chance to, feel free to join our subscribers!
We released a ton of awesome features in 2020 as well. Below is a list of just a few of them:
Real-Time Usage API Logging: Connect product usage & revenue data to your applications! Enable usage billing, lead scoring, insight into customer journeys, and more.
Ramp SKUs: With multi-period product pricing, you can offer a lower entry point before gradually increasing the price and quantity of the products you sell. With Ramp SKUs, you can easily apply this type of pricing strategy in your Proposals.
New Navigation: RevOps launched a completely new look and feel of our navigation. A wicked fast side nav, that allows you to move quickly between your Deal Desk, your Deal Templates, and your Settings.
Counter-Signers by Team: RevOps now allows companies to have multiple counter-signers within their organization. This is particularly useful for companies with multiple sales teams and managers.
Salesforce Bi-Directional Sync: Now, any changes with your contacts in Salesforce will instantly be reflected in RevOps. Additionally, any changes you choose to make with your Contacts in RevOps will instantly update Salesforce. This feature helps enforce data hygiene between your two systems and allows you to make updates in whichever system is most convenient.
