RevOps just got even easier to build your agreements!

‍

We’re thrilled to announce our new "Draft Deal" menu where Users can now see and select the agreement template they'd like to start drafting their deals with.

‍

‍

As businesses grow and sales teams double or triple, we've often noticed that the number of agreement templates available for a salesperson also quickly increases. While most sales organizations will train their team on which agreement templates to use in each sales scenario, the influx of information during onboarding and ongoing changes within the business could make this step overwhelming.

‍

Our newly released "Draft Deal" Menu helps alleviate any confusion by the sales team.

‍

Users can preview the agreement templates available and if they're not entirely sure which template to use, quickly scan through all of them before starting to put together the agreement.

‍

This menu also shows additional template information, such as the agreement type, description, and currency.

‍

This way, it is clear to everyone which agreement should be used throughout their sales process and Users can quickly and easily identify the template they need.

‍

New Features for Admins

‍

To take advantage of this, Admins and Deal Desk Managers can now:

  • Include a description on each template.
By adding a description, you can provide context and guidance to your team on when they should be using the template. Consider adding information, you previously had to repeat during training or put in internal documentation.

  • Limit access to each template by role.
Do you have legacy templates that you’ve sunset but still want access to? Do you have templates that only your Customer Success team should have access to? Now you can select which roles within your organization have access to the templates you create.

‍

‍

Updating Template Information

‍

To get started, you'll want to update your existing templates.

‍

  • First, head to Deal Studio and select the template you want to update.

‍

‍

  • Next, click on the 3 dots at the top right-hand corner and select "Edit template information".

‍

Now, you’ll be able to add the template description and select the roles that would have access to this template. Make sure to apply the changes and save the template.

Setting up "Draft Deal" with Salesforce

‍

Another benefit of our new "Draft Deal" menu is that this menu now has its own dedicated URL. Your team can choose to bookmark this page as a shortcut to quickly creating deals.

‍

Additionally, you can create a button directly in Salesforce. This is now even easier to set up.

  1. First, head over to Salesforce's Object Manager and select "Opportunity"
  2. Next, you'll want to click on "New Button or Link"
  3. Lastly, set the URL of the button to the following. Make sure to replace the subdomain with your RevOps account's subdomain.

‍

https://{your_workspace_subdomain}.revops.io/new/quote?oppId={!Opportunity.Id}

‍

Your configuration for this button should look similar to this:

‍

Now, when your team clicks on this button in Salesforce, they'll be presented with the new "Draft Deal" menu in RevOps. Once a template is selected, the Salesforce Opportunity they were coming from will also be associated with the deal.

Go to Deal Studio now and start simplifying the quoting process for you and your team!

‍

If you're ready to try out RevOps, schedule a demo today and we'll be excited to show you all the cool features on our platform.
